What A Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong

Judgment well on Nigh

Now in darkness, world stops turning
As the war machine keeps burning
No more war pigs of the power
Hand of God has struck the hour
Day of judgement, God is calling
On their knees, the war pigs crawling
Begging mercy for their sins
Satan laughing, spreads his wings
All right now!

Half-Wit? That's way too much credit!

Satan Laughing, Spreads His Wings

The video that appears immediately above this short post points out the sad humor with which right wing bigots entertain the country. The video below shows the true evil that is underneath the holier than thou facade.

Unbelievable

And a view from the Brit's

Far Right, Far Left, Difference of Opinion

Today I watched Hardball on MSNBC, then switched up and tuned into a little Fox "News" to see their view. On MSNBC the main topic was Hillary Clinton and whether or not she is catering to the female vote to get elected to the White House. We here at The Space have done intensive research on this and we can only say "DuH!"

Now onto the secondary but, to us, more interesting story line. MSNBC reported on the massive peace march on Washington DC this past Saturday, as did Fox. MSNBC concentrated mostly on the fact that more than 500,000 people went to our national capitol to express themselves, as it is the right of all Americans. They did ten seconds or so of coverage of the heated exchanges between the marchers and a few select bystanders. In this report it was stated (probably with a great deal of accuracy) that people from both sides were at fault.

On Fox they did an entire half hour (1/2 hour of network news time = 3 days of real world time) of the alleged "atrocities" the overly aggressive protesters perpetrated on the innocent bystanders who were peacefully assembling nearby. The commenter they paid the most attention to was a young Iraq vet who was supposed to have been spit on, by a fellow Army Ranger no less. Most of the people they tried to interview did yell out anti-Fox News sentiments and apparently someone vandalized their news van as well. Gee that's quite a surprise.

Finding Your Own Path

As an Individualist, you stand out as your own person—imaginative, curious, shrewd, and filled with surprises. You're a free spirit. You've chosen your own path in life and don't do things simply to please other people. You're creative, intelligent, and opinionated. This isn't always a popular combination! Some misinterpret your independence and questioning; they may see you as eccentric and difficult.

It's true you're a natural skeptic and critic. You're often more in tune with what's wrong in a situation than what's right. You've probably gravitated toward jobs and hobbies where you can investigate, analyze, and solve problems. The challenge is being able to turn off that "critical eye." Skepticism and doubt are great tools at work, but they can be destructive in your personal life.

Fortunately, your quirky take on life can be very attractive. You have a neurotic streak and just enough outward vulnerability to make you approachable. You often say and do the unexpected, which makes you fun and exciting to be around. You also have a mischievous streak and a wicked sense of humor. Individualists have a knack for innovation. Like pioneers, you have the potential to chart a new course and break new ground in your career and community. If you believe in something, you defend it passionately and aren't easily intimidated. In fact, you have to keep your defenses in check to avoid seeming too adversarial. Not everyone will appreciate it, but you're a true original.

A momentary lapse

Michelle

Stupid bitch!
Do you know me?
She asked
Do you know me at all, really?

Then I saw her for real

In that one clear instant
I saw through the perfect make-up
I saw past the high cheek bones and into her mind
I saw beyond her sharp intellect and razor wit
I saw the scared little girl I thought was at the core
then looked into the tiniest pin prick of brilliant light that she really was -
Joy and love and mirth
